Playing With Gelli

Next week I'm going to talk to you about making, using, and cleaning up after a concoction I like to call, "ink paint", and I'll also be telling you about a brand new book- which I should have in my hands by the end of the week- but for today, all I have is some eye candy.

I broke out the gel plate, acrylics, inks, and texture plates- and made a huge mess.

And one last thing that I found fun. I used some scraps of paper, Lutradur, and multi-purpose fabric as masks on my gel plate. I used both sides of the masks and they picked up very different colors on each side.

 (here's one side)

(and here are the same pieces, flipped over)

 Happy weekend creating!!

I love the pinks and purples and blues. The fabrics that you used for masks turned out really cool too.
