Summer Relocation

First, allow me to apologize for my absence from this blog! I love blogging but sometimes other things just seize your life and take control, and at the moment, that's our current relocation! Very little art is being made, as I've spent most of the last few weeks getting my home ready to sell and purchasing a new home a little further to the north.

However, for the last couple of days things have gone quiet in our real estate dealings and I've been getting back into the studio. I finished this little piece today.

It has a wonky shape and texture but I'm liking it. This is deli paper, watercolor paper and multi-purpose fabric and features some monoprinted and cut Stacked Journaling.

It felt good to get messy again!

Have a wonderful and creative weekend!

Perfect! The 3D effect is dramatic. Love it.

I adore the contrast in this piece.

So where are you moving to, have you said that and I just missed it?

Are you coming to Baton Rouge? We could create together! LOL.
