Today- thanks to Lynn Krawczyk's urging- we show our messes in all their glory. A messy studio is a peek inside our works in progress- not to be ashamed of or hidden. Messy artists, unite!
A couple of weeks ago, this was the state of my studio...
Stacks of tools necessary for multiple projects, fresh studio laundry, half-finished work- I was a mess!
What a difference a day (or so) makes! After a week spent cleaning and purging, this morning I can walk into this...
There's not much that's more exciting and invigorating to me than a deeply-cleaned studio that's been reorganized (thank you for the push, Carol) and is ready for the next mess to be started!

Enjoyed your studio shots and the Messy Work Table photo. Also thanks for posting the names of the rest of us. I think I will add the list to my blog post about it!

Wow! Love your transformation! It's great fun to see all of the supplies and projects that everyone uses or has out..but even more wonderful to know that one can clean up and start with a fresh new space for the next day!
But I must confess..sometimes the befores are even more fun than the afters. We just plain love to know that others make messes as well as art ;)
Well now, that didn't look that bad to me. Thanks for the peek inside your studio!
One artist's mess is another artist's dream. When my table looks like your before, I feel like I've accomplished something.
Your studio is much cleaner than mine!!!!
So far none of these tables look too terribly messy.... I think everyone cleaned. ;o)
Aw, that wasn't too bad. I like messy artist studios, it means a lot of creating going on there! Have fun messing it up!
A fun peek but I must agree with many of the others who commented. Your before table looks more like my after table. Thanks for sharing!
